Your Personal Recovery Journey is a facilitated group educational program for people with lived/living experience of mental illness or mental health problems. It is facilitated either in person or virtually.

Anyone with a mental illness or mental health problem at all stages of their recovery journey can participate in the program.

Your Personal Recovery Journey consists of six modules, each lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, typically one per week.

Each of the six modules focuses on a topic that is important in life and to recovery. The topics include Introduction to Recovery, Connectedness, Hope and Optimism, Identity, Meaning and Purpose, and Empowerment. You will learn how each of these topics impacts your recovery and how you can apply what you learn to live your best life!

No, the program is available to participants free of charge.

If you are interested in taking Your Personal Recovery Journey, we encourage you to speak with your peer supporter (if you have one) or contact your local mental health or peer support organization to express your interest and to find out about availability of in person or virtual course offerings.
